Feeder Window Intro

The feeder window for coaxial cables, or feeder wall entries, is a piece of metal panel containing several holes to let feeder cable pass. This entry panel is used in cellular station to help the feeder cable get into the BTS room.

Common 12-hole Feeder Window

This is a 12-hole feeder entry window. In each hole, there is a rubber cushion to clamp the feeder cable. The holes on the panel of the feeder entry are customized to suit BTS cable capacity.

Rubber Saddle For Feeder Window

The rubber cushion on feeder cable entry can be customized. 2/3/4 holes can be made to customer's need. The size of the rubber cushion and each hole are also adjustable. The rubber cushion is tightened with a hose clamp.

Feeder Window Installation Position

All feeder cables must be connected to a grounding wire respectively before entering the BTS service room. For the ease of maintenance, entry panels for feeder cable are installed right above (sometimes right under) the grounding copper bar. This will improve grounding performance and save grounding wire.
