How Feeder Clamps Are Made

Telecommunication feeder clamps contains two parts: a metal clamp, and plastic/rubber saddle/saddles that surround the feeder cable. To make feeder clamp, we need to make the metal clamp first, and drill three holes on it.
Second, we need to make pressure plate for the metal clamp. Drill a hole on each pressure plate with heavy-duty drill. This plate will be installed on top of a short threaded bar of feeder clamp to fasten the clamp on any designated surface.
To make pressure plate, we need to cut small pieces from a strip of flat steel, using hydraulic press machine. A good pressure plate will help clamp the feeder cable firmly on any designated steel frames.
The rubber saddles are made of PA or PP plastic particle, casted into mould with UV resistant fortifier to form the final shape. This moulding procedure must be processed with machine to ensure the machining precision.
When metal clamp is completed, we may start sorting parts by category for the convenience of transport. This is a completely dismantled feeder clamp, we can see the metal clamp, two different threaded bar and rubber saddles. Assemble of feeder clamp can be easy. You may acquire a spanner, or just with your bare hand, to screw the two threaded bolt on the metal clamp and install rubber saddle on it.
