1-5/8" cable is the biggest RF coaxial cable in most telecommunication system. This cable is often made in leaky type, and serves as antenna in indoor distribution system (railway, motorway, underground tunnels, etc).

When made in leaky type, the 1-5/8" cable cannot be clamped with ordinary feeder clamp. Therefore, we need to use the 1-5/8" Leaky Feeder Clamp.

The fireproof type 1-5/8" leaky feeder clamp is based on the regular type, adding a metal frame between cone and clamp to make sure the leaky feeder cable will not fall in the event of a fire.

3. Leaky Clamp for High-speed Rail

The leaky clamp for high-speed rail is an enhanced feeder clamp designed to withstand strong winds generated inside the tunnel. It has a strengthened bolt and a bigger clamper. Sometimes made in 1-5/8" outdoor feeder clamp double stocking for two leaky cables.
