Feeder Cables of bts installation should be attached to a good electrical ground at the top of the tower near the antenna, at the bottom of the tower, and at the point where the cable enters the transmitter building.

The universal grounding kit is designed to fit feeder cables of various sizes, including 1/4, 1/2, 3/8, 7 8, 5/4, 13/8 and LMR 400. It is useful in base station to provide solid ground protection to the antenna feeder cable and the main feeder cable. The forms of universal grounding kits are various. Its contact bar can be attached with an adjustable copper belt or a small conduct bar with metal mesh. Universal grounding kits can be applied to indoor cable directly, or use along with 3M waterproofing tape outdoor.
